Chanè du Preez, is a young South African Industrial, Organizational Psychology and Labour Relations graduate. Recruited through SWS and now employed, as full-time Training and Development Manager by an Australian company, tells her story:
“I, Chané Du Preez (23), will continuously work to achieve the finest outcomes in my career. I received a Golden Key Cum Laude degree after studying BCom Industrial and Organizational Psychology with Labor Relations Management. My next step was to follow my interest and studied BCom Hons Industrial and Organization Psychology. I worked in various part-time jobs throughout my studies, including marketing, Au Pairing, tutoring and
promotions.
I am currently employed at Integrityx Group of Companies as the Training and Development Manager. It has been amazing working as a South African entry-level employee for an Australian company. I had the opportunity to interact with individuals from other corporate backgrounds and cultures. Additionally, it offers an environment where creative thinking can develop. The Smart Workforce hiring procedure was incredibly observant, helpful, and supportive, from the interviews to joining the organization.
I received a pleasant welcoming to the company, accompanied by a thorough induction training program. The highlight in my career is to be able to work with a motivated team at Integrity and Smart Workforce. The Group has established a high standard and my personal expectations of a type of work environment where I can advance in my position while also expanding my knowledge and skill set. I am inspired to strive for excellence with my diligent colleagues.
My ultimate goal is to successfully complete the Psychometric Board Exam in 2023, gain admission, and then graduate with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology in 2024. I want to succeed in my position as Training and Development Manager and help others develop so they may succeed. Lastly, Integrityx provided me the foundation to grow and achieve my professional and personal objectives.” – Chanè du Preez
